Alpacas Pronking

If you see the alpacas jumping around this is called pronking. They mostly pronk at dusk. It is an awesome sight to see all the adults and crias pronking at the same time. If you are viewing the live cam try to watch right before dark. You should be able to catch Diego and Electra playing. Diego especially goes a little crazy running, jumping, and kicking his hind feet high in the air. When he begins to exhaust his energy he will turn his wild runs into a beautiful gallop. Reminds me of the show horses trolloping around.
